The Hebrew song 'Lo bayom velo balayla' (Not in the day and not at night) was written by the esteemed poet Chaim Nachman Bialik. In its two short verses a female speaker describes how she goes to ask an old tree who her husband will be. This rare recording was taken by the Latvian-American psychologist David Boder in Paris in early September 1946.
